• Trading kills is NOT okay. 15/12/9 is not a good score. If the rest of your team is holding their lane to get farmed up with scores like 2/3/1 and 0/0/0, they’re doing better than you. Reason why is because, despite those 15 kills that make you stronger, your team hasn’t had the opportunity to get that much gold like you have. Those twelve deaths (which, let’s say are reflected to a solo lane for the sake of this example) are your lane opponent’s 12 kills. If they were to gank any other lane, your teammates wouldn’t be prepared for it, and their lane will become more and more difficult as their lanes get fed. If all the lanes are fed except yours, which you would believe is “doing well”, you’d better hope someone on the other team disconnects.
  
  —> Even with first blood, it’s not completely worth it, as a 100 gold head start above your lane opponent is equal to 4-5 minions. Better to come out with a clean first blood, having a total advantage of 400g, or 16-20 minions.
  —> A small exception would be in a team fight, if you could trade yourself to earn your teammates more kills, and ultimately, an ace. Again, better to come out clean and have all five of your team able to push / take jungle / etc.
• When someone who has a clear advantage over you is near you, run the fuck away. How is this not common sense? If some 6’9” bearded lady comes up to you with a machine gun and you aren’t a 7’ bearded lady, you don’t stand there. You don’t hit the bearded lady. You don’t throw your boomerang at the bearded lady. You fucking run for your life. Also, don’t throw yourself at three bearded ladies. It’s just not smart.
  
  (For analogy purposes, think of a 20/1/5 Twitch as the bearded lady.)
• If you are playing AI matches, you cannot be proud of anything you do. Hell, maybe there is one thing you can be proud of. If you lose. It is damned hard to lose an AI game and I applaud you if you have. I try to lose the things and our minions kill the Nexus for us before we hit the half-hour mark. You went 100/0/100 in a bot game? Go fuck yourself. You went 6/60/0? High five.
